Celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Humphrey Fellowship

As part of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Humphrey Scholarship, an Anniversary Forum was held with the Humphrey Alumni of El Salvador, in which more than 200 people participated, including 10 alumni of the program, representatives of academia and organizations dedicated to this field.

This scholarship program represents a great opportunity for Salvadorans who have sought to learn, grow and contribute to the development of El Salvador. Since 1978, 42 Salvadoran scholarship recipients have participated and returned to share their knowledge and become agents of change in the country. In total, more than 600 Salvadorans have participated in exchange programs in the United States.

Ambassador William Duncan attended this celebration and shared with the attendees. This is another example of the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
