The Information Resource Center (IRC) is part of the Embassy’s Public Affairs Office. It offers access to major U.S. data sources, on-line databases, and Internet resources. It also has a reference collection and offers a variety of U.S. magazines and journals.
U.S. Collection
The IRC has important collections of books on U.S. Government, History, Legislation, Sports, and Culture in general. It also has works on major topics of interest such as Diplomacy, Human Rights, Economics, Education, Journalism, and National Security. Check the IRC’s Online Public Access Catalog.
Audio-Visual Collection
In the IRC, we have a diverse collection of documentaries and American films. Interested Salvadoran educational institutions may request these imaterials to present them to their students or local audiences or to organize forums or cultural events.
