Habildades para el Empleo Project

The U.S. Government, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), will invest $28 million in the new Skills for Employment Project, which aims to optimize and increase employment and training opportunities for thousands of Salvadorans.

The project aims to provide access to vocational training for more than 12,000 Salvadoran youth, as well as help place at least 4,000 people in better or new jobs in the country.

The U.S. Ambassador to the country, William Duncan, indicated that they share the vision of El Salvador as a place of prosperity where Salvadorans can realize their dreams. Ambassador Duncan affirmed that they seek to improve the employability conditions of young people and returned migrants, therefore, he reaffirmed that they will continue to look for ways to continue supporting Salvadorans in their desire to better themselves.
