I am Ronald Johnson, Ambassador of the United States and I am here together with People Helping People, to deliver food donated by the people of the United States.

As a man of faith, I believe it is our responsibility to share our blessings with those in need. That is why it is so important for us to be here with you today.

This is a vision shared by People Helping People, who have been supporting El Salvador for many years, providing help to those who need it most.

Thank you very much to the Convoy of Hope for supporting this mission and many thanks to People Helping People, for all the work you have been doing for all these years for this country.

It’s been one year today since I arrived in this country, and during my time here I have grown very fond of El Salvador and its people. And this morning, you represent all the Salvadorans that I have met and I am happy to be able to celebrate this anniversary next to you, along with friends and allies such as People Helping People and Convoy of Hope.

May god bless all of you and your family.
