Lost and Stolen Visas

  • The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador recommends all visa holders to have a copy of their visa in case an unfortunate event happens and your visa gets lost or stolen, you will need information from your visa to report it lost or stolen. We need you to first report it to local authorities of the country you are in as soon as possible, once you have a report we need you to submit the information from the form below and attached your report.

  • Once you have submitted your form, you will need to obtain a new passport and apply to the regular non-immigrant visa process abroad, lost or stolen U.S. visas cannot be replaced in the United States.
